Here comes another public Parenting Class for the new parents in September, which we have humorously termed it as a “Breastfeeding Party”. Yes, all mothers-to-be and fathers-to-be, you are welcomed to join and get yourself equipped with all the essential knowledge and tips for successful breastfeeding, in a party mood!

Breastfeeding Demo and Tips

There is definitely no doubt about the benefits of breastfeeding. Breast milk is not only the best source of nutrition for your baby, it is also an essential aid to foster intimate bonding with your baby. However, we all know that breastfeeding is not always an easy task for everyone, especially new mothers. By joining us in this Breastfeeding Party, you will find out that it is actually can be very fun and entertaining to learn breastfeeding effectively, because Mummycare has thoughtfully invited a well-known professional Breastfeeding Counselor, Ms Jasmeen Tay Abdullah to fly in for the whole day just to share with you all the useful tips for breastfeeding.

A Trilingual Speaker

Ms Jasmeen Tay Abdullah, who is a Certified Lactation Counselor, has more than 15 years of breastfeeding knowledge and she is still constantly upgrading herself to keep abreast with the latest breastfeeding skills. She is well-conversed in multiple languages such as English, Mandarin and Malay, hence she will be more than happy to answer to any mother’s query in their native language.

This Breastfeeding Party in September is the second parenting talk that Mummycare has been organizing for this year. From our previous experiences of organizing such parenting talks and we are glad to receive overwhelming responses from the parents, we believe that this is really a good and beneficial activity that should always be carried out from time to time in order to provide a variety of important parenting knowledge for parents.

In this coming Breastfeeding Party that is going to be held on Saturday, 12 September 2009 at Crown Square Imperial Hall, Mummycare has also invited an experienced and caring Pediatrician Dr Siew Hueh Fen to give our parents a talk on topics such as child birth, child caring and other possible situations that many are facing during their parenthood.
