Parenting Class May 09

The response was over-whelming, which was very encouraging for us as a Organizer and all the other honourable sponsors.

About 70 couples (a total of 140 people) turned up for the Parenting Class on last Saturday, which has exceeded our initial planning for 50 couples only. Wow!

Young parents are very knowledge-seeking nowadays. They were very attentive to doctors’ speeches during the talk, and politely took their turns to ask question, queueing up for their snacks and goodies bags etc. Amazing parents-to-be.

Many parents (and fathers!) were jotting down notes and important points on their notebooks. And one phenomenon I have noted during the talk, many fathers were the one asking questions to the doctors for advice and pointers. Guys, you all are excellent fathers!

Of course, not forgetting that all mothers-to-be are excellent mothers too..  Show the pictures to your babies and precious one that and tell them that they have an Excellent Parents like yourself.  Pictures are the proof!

BPA-free Bottles and Baby Safe Liquid Cleanser

Everyone is concern about the plastic bottles issue. Some said it is still safe to use PC bottle, but yet countries like Canada and major retailers like Walmart has already taken down all their PC bottles from the shelf.  And big brands worldwide are also slowly introducing BPA-free bottles. Parents are confused of the controversy, who is right and what is safe? The grey area is making all parents anxious.

Yes, we are as anxious as you. Because we are parents too. All of us want the best for our babies and kids, and even ourselves as a pregnant mother.

BPA does exist in PC bottle, there is no controversy over this. Because BPA is required to build PC (polycarbonate). The issue is, will the BPA leach out from the bottle in the course of using it? And whether that amount of leaching affecting our babies, toddlers or even ourselves?

Research and studies proved that BPA does leach into water at 80 degree Celsius, and it increases over time. PC bottles degrade after several washing. Acidic material like harsh detergents will make things even worse. The detrimental effects of BPA to human being, were researched through animal-tested studies (of course no one will do testing on human being – it’s unethical), indicated that even low doses of BPA is a concern, especially for pregnant ladies and infants.

The saying goes, Better Safe than Sorry. I’m sure most of us will agree. So, why do we still using PC bottles when there are already better, durable and affordable option?

Let’s take a look at the new arrival, Bumble Bee PES Wideneck Feeding Bottles. It is made of PolyetherSulfone, a thermoplastic with high temperature resistance up to 180 degree Celsius, high chemical-resistance, durable as plastic but safe as glass, and most importantly, it is free of BPA! In addition to that, it is also free from Phthalate, Cadnium, Lead and PVC.

As mentioned earlier, harsh detergents will degrade PC bottles. As a matter of fact, we should avoid harsh detergents all the time for washing baby’s bottles, toys, utensils or any other accessories. Even safe for fruits and vegetables. Harsh detergents like normal household detergents contain too much chemical and it is harmful for babies. Try this newly arrived Bumble Bee Baby Safe Liquid Cleanser, which is free of chemicals like LABS, SLS, SLES, BETAINES, CDE, PHOSPHATES, PARABEN & SILICATES and it is only Rm21.90.

I mentioned affordable, right? Yes, check out at the stores (call us, or drop by now) for specific promotion right away. It’s so unbelievable and I’m sure you won’t want to miss it.
